Project Title
SehatGuru: AI-Based Nutrition and Fitness Mobile Application
Description
SehatGuru is a cross-platform mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to enable culturally relevant nutrition tracking for Pakistani users. The system integrates a ConvNeXt-based deep learning model for image-based food classification of local dishes and a FastAPI backend for processing and serving nutritional data. It calculates personalized calorie and macronutrient targets using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and user-specific inputs. The application also includes a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot built with LangGraph and Google Gemini, which provides dietary guidance grounded in Pakistani Dietary Guidelines. By combining computer vision, backend APIs, and intelligent systems, the project delivers an accurate, scalable, and context-aware health solution.
